I don't really know, but in the better leagues there are many lockout players right now, with the well known trickle down effect. Maybe you'd want to look in countries where hockey is not such a big thing. (eg. not Russia, Sweden Finnland, Germany, Switzerland Slovakia etc.)
As for switzerland i guess you might look in the lower leagues. (No chance to play in NLA, neither NLB. (AHL at least)) But maybe you can find a team in the lower, amateur leagues. But I doubt that they will pay you a lot of money, if any. But why not contact a club and ask them if they can find a job in a bar or sth. There are some lower league clubs
in the alps (geat skiing fun etc.) Some guys have said that no foreign plyers are accepted in these leagues, but i doubt that is coorect. Could be quite difficult though
