canadian player, where have you played, and what nationality are you? What I did is send emails to teams and told them that I would be in Europe just before camp starts. I went to my native country and played Division 2 for two years but decided that I was not going to make it to a better division as I was just not good enough. The experience was awesome so never give up until you've tried it for yourself. (I played Junior A in Canada, and one year of canadian university hockey before I went over)
