Players needed.
If you are planning a trip Downunder and would like to play some hockey, we need you!

The Adelaide Tigers Ice Hockey Club based in South Australia is looking for some help.

We are allowed 5 import players.
The club can help out with short term accommodation on arrival and possibly help with finding work if needed.

Our season starts in April and ends in late September.

For more info contact Glen Foll glenfoll@optusnet.com.au

Our club is basically a beer league club.
We play once a week and practice even less.

After saying this we do have some very good players in the league.
Former NHLer Steve McKenna played for one of the clubs last year.

We have a 4 team in house league here in Adelaide which we play in.

If you are looking for payment or flights paid we can't do anything.
All of our players pay around $700.00 a season to play.

For import players it is free.

All we can do is find you temporary accommodation when you get to Adelaide and maybe some help finding work if needed.

We also have a team from Adelaide in the AIHL (Australian Ice Hockey League).
The Adelaide Avalanche.

Players for this team are selected from our local league.
If you did play for the Avalanche I'm sure they would pay for your accommodation and possibly part of your airfare.
But that would be something you would have to negotiate with them.

Our local league season and the AIHL normally finish in the 1st or second week in September.

We have had problems in the past with players leaving before the end of the season.

If you are still interested and can stay until early September let me know.

Cheers

Glen Foll
