Hello Matthew,

I also wish to see a European competion. The problem there is a lot of people at IIHF, who have an old value system and different views/standpoints between them. They only want to support league winners who meet each other. Without this a European competion has no meaning for them.

If we just took teams from pre-season tournaments, who likes each other a lot who is seeing each other every year and start a league from that with addition of some more teams. Then we could create a tradition and a sence of belonging.

During these pre-season tournaments they allways try to learn new things from each other all the time. What has proven to be the best is what they use. These teams are more similar to each other in terms of training scedules and other forms of progressive training. A problem in the past have been, we are to different to be together.

I am convinced we would then have a European competion rather soon on a enough high quality. But to convince the conservative blockheads at IIHF is not easy.
