Key win for Germany on day 4 of WJC18

Germany beats Czechs to keep quarter final hopes alive and Russia runs over Norway.

In group A Germany won a key victory when they defeated the Czech Republic 4-3. The Czechs had 43 shots on goal but Lukas Steinhauer saved the Germans making 40 saves in this key game. Both teams now have one win and Germany will take the last quarter final spot if they beat the Swiss team.

In group Russia easily defeated Norway 8-1. The Russians were up 4-0 already after 11:58. Chvanov and Kuznetzov both scored two goals.
