EHT: Czech Hockey Games, Day 1
Finland and Czech Republic wins.
The last Euro Hockey Tour (EHT) tournament of the season started with the games Czech Republic – Sweden and Finland - Russia.
Jaromir Jagr played his first Euro Hockey Tour game ever and scored the game-winning 2-1 goal for the Czechs in Tipsport Arena, Liberec. Petr Cajanek scored 1-0 at 32:33 and Christian Berglund tied it for Sweden a few minutes later. Jagr’s goal came with 5:06 remaining of the game on a 2-man advantage.

In Tampere Finland beat Russia 4-2. Hannes Hyvönen was the game-winner here. He scored 3-2 and 4-2 in the third period. Finland had a 2-0 lead but Russia scored twice to get back in the game before the Hyvönen show started.
