Key win for Sweden against Switzerland

Switzerland must beat USA in the last game of the Qualifying stage.

In this important game for the Quarter final spots Sweden defeated the World Championship host Switzerland 4-1.

Johnny Oduya played his first game of the tournament and opened the scoring for Sweden in the sixth minute. Johan Harju added another Swedish goal at 5 minutes of the second period. His line-mate Linus Omark made it 3-0 at 46:41 and after a video review Johan Andersson got a 4-0 goal allowed.

Switzerland got one goal when Romano Lemm beat Swedish goalie Jonas Gustavsson on a late power-play.

With one game remaining of Group E Russia leads and secured the win. USA, Latvia and Sweden are tied at 7 while Switzerland has points. In the last game Switzerland will play USA. Sweden will play France and Russia will face Latvia.
