A goal by Nagy in OT takes Slovakia at 10th final place

Slovakia ends one of most disappointing IHWC campaign winning against a good team Norway, that, on the contrary, can celebrate a satisfying World Championship, well resumed by captain Tommy Jakobsen: "We're not Canada. For us, to stay in the top division is a success. Of course, you'd always like to go up another step, but for us we had a good tournament."
Power plays were decisive in this game, with Slovaks early on 2-0 in the first period with Stefan Ruzicka and Peter Smrek, but Norway highlighted Jan Filc's side limits: Anders Bastiansen in the second period and Lars Erik Lund at 45:22 with a terrific shot, equalized score and bring game at oveertime: after 2 minutes, with Tore Vikingstad in the sin-bin, Ladislav Nagy scored the final 3-2 that allow Slovakia to finish in fifth place in Group F and in 10th overall
