DEL All Star Game 
The 5th DEL All-star game was held in Köln on February 2nd of 2003. It saw a selection of top players from the DEL against Germany's national team which could use this game as a practice for the SKODA-CUP. Germany started strong, twice taking leads, but the DEL All-Star team didn't give up quickly. After Austrian forward Christoph Brandner tied the game up at 3 it was Wally Schreiber who gave the All-Stars the lead going into the third period. After having seen 1-goal and 2-goal leads disappear, Team Germany this time managed to open up a 3-goal lead in the final period. This proved too much for the DEL All-Stars who did not add to their total in the third period. Sven Felski recorded a hattrick for Team Germany in this game.
