We are two young ice hockey players from the Netherlands that are looking for some adventure. We would like to play one or more seasons in a foreign country to develop our self as a person and as a hockey player.

We are both 19, turning 20 this summer, and have several years of hockey experience. I (Jan van de Boomen) play for the Tilburg Trappers in the Netherlands, I have also played for several national youth teams Under 16,17,18 and Under 20. I also have international experience by playing an official world cup for Under 18 and joining a international team at an IIHF development camp.

My friend (Joost Hesselberth) has played for Smoke Eaters Geleen and Tilburg Trappers in the Netherlands. He quit playing icehockey for 2 years, but remained playing inlinehockey (streethockey). He also played in Canada for one season for the Lakeshore Panthers in Montreal, for the same national youth teams Under 16,17,18 and 20, but he didn't play an official world cup because he was in Canada at that time. He also played at an IIHF development camp.

We would like to play in a foreign country but not before august 2007, because Joost has to finish his study (also very important). We start e-mailing now, so we will have the time to arrange everything properly. We would also like to work during the season so we can earn some money to support ourselves.

If you know something, please leave a message or e-mail me!

Greetings,

From Holland
