Here's a run-down of all the responsibilities you have as a Staff member at EH.N. Click on the links in the left frame to read detailed instructions on how to contribute.
Do use the forum! Any topic relating to European hockey is welcome. As a Staff member you should always use your registered name and password. This way readers of the Forum know that it is you who made the posting. Should you forget your password send us an e-mail at members@eurohockey.net.
E-Mail address, URLs etc. can be left blank when posting to the forum, these are filled in automatically with the info in your Member's personal profile. To change or add to this info, go to the Members section (via the Forum index frame or direct: http://www.eurohockey/fans/members.
If you add your ICQ number to your personal profile, this makes communication between us all easier. Add the other Staff to your contact list! If you want to find out more about ICQ, get in touch with one of the members whose ICQ# is listed.
Adding your own site's URL or the name of your publication adds to awareness of your status and also gives you a little advertising in return for your hard work!
Staying with the Forum for a moment, being a Staff member gives us the option to allow you to use HTML in your Forum postings. If you wish to have this privilege, mail us (or a quick ICQ message will do)! Most webmasters have this privilege automatically added to their profile when they become a Staff member, but check first!
Of course any of the staff privileges can be withdrawn as fast as they are given, so if you share a computer with other people please do not leave the browser open that you've been working on!
Treat it like you would an e-mail account. Only for you!
To access the Staff section, use the URL http://www.eurohockey.net/staff, or use the option from the main drop-down menu at the top of the screen. If you have cookies turned on, you'll only need to enter your details once per session.
The first script access privileges we grant to new Staff at the moment are: Team Info, Transfers and Fixtures.
Of course the more staff we have, the better service we can offer and the less work you have to do!! If you know anyone whose qualities, skills and knowledge could be put to work at EH.N, put them in touch with us! On NO ACCOUNT give your own password on to friends, no matter how good friends they are! If they can help us, we will take them onto the Staff list.
As in any organisation, at EH.N there is also the possibility of taking on more responsibility. If you prove your worth to the site you will be rewarded with more privileges and the ability to play a greater part in our organisation. Good reporters will move up to News Editors etc...
