Team Info

Team Name / Short Name
- these are set by Admin and should only be changed after consultation with Admin where necessary. Logos and other info are stored under the 3-letter code known on the script as "Short Name" (combined with their national NIC code), so any change to that means the scripts won't pull out the info to be displayed. This code also serves for listing teams alphabetically, so it may differ from initials that the team is known as:
For example the Short Name of SC Bern is not "scb" but "ber". However, some teams such as TPS Turku are listed as tps as that is the name they are listed as in their own country.

Alternative Name
- should only be used for the following two purposes:
(1) If a team plays in an ethnic region of a country the name in the other language is listed. As a rule of thumb the LOCAL name of the team is used. As an example: WSV Sterzing in South Tirol. Official language is Italian but as the vast majority of the population is German speaking the team is listed under the German name. SSI Vipiteno is added as their Alternative Name.
(2) If a team has no locality in their name, the location of their home ice is listed. An example is Revier Löwen of Germany, who play in Oberhausen. Oberhausen is their Alternative Name.

Tel./Fax No.:
- should be listed the same on each page, that is as follows:
(1) The national dialling code for the country, preceded by a "+"...
e.g. +44 for the UK, +49 for Germany.
(2) After a space, if there is a digit not dialled on international calls but inside the country, such as a zero in many European countries, list this in brackets, followed by the rest of the local dialling code.
e.g. (0)181/ for London -> +44 (0)181/
(3) Then comes the phone number which is dialled from local connections.
For example 533 3151
All in all this looks like +44 (0)181/ 533 3151 (if you're wondering what this phone number is, it's the local ice rink near where I grew up!)

Colours
- List these in the following order: Away main colour, home main colour, then other colours

Budget
- The total club budget for the season. This is not always published and can be left blank.

Capacity
- Should be listed as: x (y seats) where x is the total capacity, y is the number of seats. If only seats are available, just say (all seats)

Ice Size
- In most European countries there is just one ice size, 60x30m. In some countries the sizes differ. If no ice size is given it will be assumed the size is the European standard, but try to get the size info if you can.

Logos
- If you have a better quality logo scanned than the one displayed, let us have it!!
